Federal Treasurer, The Honourable Mr Wayne Swan attended a dinner at Victoria's restaurant Grafton, at which over 70 locals from the Clarence Valley and beyond enjoyed a great meal and speech from the Treasurer. Proceeds from the evening are to be split between C-BEAS for the ongoing provision of business advisory services, and the Clarence Valley Prostate Cancer Support Group. Thanks to Page MP Janelle Saffin for bringing Mr Swan to the Valley and facilitating the dinner

Today saw the launch of C-BEAS with the Federal Minister for Small Business, Craig Emerson, joining Member for Page Janelle Saffin to officially open us up for business.
Our State Member, Steve Cansdell, as well as several Clarence Valley Councillors attended the opening, as did many of the switched on business people from across the Valley.
